About God
There is one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things, Lord of the universe, infinitely perfect and eternally existing as three Persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
About Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ was both eternally God, yet man - conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He:
- lived a sinless life,
- performed miracles,
- suffered and died as an atoning sacrifice for our sins,
- was bodily resurrected, and
- ascended to the right hand of God the Father, where He now intercedes for us.
About the Holy Spirit
The present ministry of the Holy Spirit is to:
- convict unbelievers,
- regenerate the believer,
- indwell, guide, instruct, encourage, correct, and empower the believer for godly living and service.
This is evidenced by the development of the fruit and expression of the gifts of the Spirit.
About the Bible
The Bible is the unique, inspired, infallible and authoritative Word of God for all matters of Christian faith and practice.
About Salvation
We were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him.
Through disobedience, we sinned and became lost and alienated from God.
The life, death and supernatural resurrection of Jesus Christ provide the only way for reconciliation and salvation of all who believe, and commit themselves to following the Lord in a life of obedience.
About the Church
The universal church is composed of all people who through faith, have personally accepted God's saving grace, and so are united together in the body of Christ.
All believers should be identified with a local church where the sacraments of water baptism and the Lord's Supper are observed, and believers are engaged in discipleship. Discipleship includes prayer, worship, evangelism, community, equipping and service.
